Mike has gone well above and beyond in servicing me in the sale of my home. I had been trying to sell my home with a few real estate agents for the past four years at high commission rates and was not getting the service or the results that I was looking for. I first learned of Propertyguys.com when my wife and I first started looking to purchase a new home. It seemed like all the places we took interest in were being hosted by this site, and it enlightened me in regards to the futile role that a real estate agent plays, especially given their ultimate payout.

When most real estate agents are charging anywhere from 5-7% in our area - this adds up to quite a bit. I couldn't justify paying over a minimum of $5,000 for every $100,000 of my home's value; a value that I have been paying into for years through my mortgage.

My Mother and I both listed our homes with agents for THREE months! Not once did our Listing Agents walk anyone through our homes, it was always the Buyer's agent coming through.

When the Buying Agent rarely knows anything about your home, how can they possibly highlight the aspects that first caught your interest?

My wife and I quickly learned that there are many advantages to selling privately. SOME of these advantages include:

1.) SAVING the COMMISSION - "Sell your house. PAY YOURSELF!";
2.) By saving on the commision, you have MORE BARGAINING POWER - i.e. Your Asking Price no longer has to include the eventual commission payout;
3.) With a lower asking price, your home becomes more attractive - an EASIER and, often times, QUICKER sell (REMEMBER: without having to pay commission, you will likely be keeping more money after the sale); and,
4.) YOU CAN SELL YOUR HOME BETTER than any agent (especially a Buyer's Agent).

I listed my home in Cambridge for sale through PROPERTYGUYS and I had an OFFER go to the lawyers within 7 DAYS. I cannot
guarantee this result for everyone, but I invite you to visit their site and see some of these results for yourself.

There are other "For Sale By Owner" sites out there - some are cheaper - but I don't believe that they will obtain the kind of exposure that this site brings in, nor will they be able to provide you with their kind of on-going support.
