We have been working on the closing right now with a couple. Things are going well for us as we had two offers in the same night and steady traffic throughout the week. Everyone saw us on the web site while they were looking for other houses. My dad loved your pictures!! Everyone really liked how the house was shown and stayed for long periods of time.
There were a few agents who called us but they didn't like what we had to offer them for commission. We were offering $2500 for them to bring us a buyer but as it turns out the two couples didn't have agents and we used the same lawyers.
We are signing our papers tonight. Very happy with the deal. We are getting a little under asking price by a few thousand BUT we were going to install a new furnace for $2500 or so. This couple had no problems with the furnace so you could almost say we got our asking price. The legal papers are going in tomorrow for final signing. So we saved a commission on $321,700. One realtor thought we were asking too much so if we went with them not only would our price be lower but we would have had to pay them 7%. We went with what we thought was right and it worked.
