It takes longer to sell privately: A recent independent study has concluded that Private Sales happen on average 3 weeks sooner than those listed with an agent. You can t argue with the facts. If a home is overpriced, it doesn t matter how you market it, it won t sell quickly.
You pay more legal fees: Not true, in fact due to our high market share we are able to offer preferred legal rates for our Private Sellers. Sell your home yourself, pay less legal fees, sounds like a win, win situation to me.
It is dangerous to show your own home: ….What? This would be silly enough to be laughable except for the fact that this fear mongering tactic at times works and makes people worry. Let us assure you, if we ever find this to be the case, we will let you know….along with all the realtors who are doing the same thing, showing homes.
You can get in legal trouble: Real Estate Agents are not lawyers. Lawyers protect you from legal pitfalls and like everyone else selling a property, you ll have one of those….cheaper too!
